Cecilia Bartoli is the laureate of the Polar Music Prize 2016!

The 2016 Polar Music Prize has been awarded on the 10th of Februari 2016 to the Italian mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli. She has proven her worth as a winner having unique voice qualities and a profound grounding in the early historical music. The Polar Music Prize is ceremonially awarded in Stockholm on the 16th of June by His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf.
