Welcome to Stockholm's oldest, and  newest, concert hall on Nybrokajen 11,
Saturday 5 March, 3 pm to  listen to Les Oiseaux - The Birds.

Tickets are available through www.ticnet.se or Nybrokajen 11, + 46 8 407 17 00

Christmas Baroque in the Latin American Jungle!

altA 17th century Christmas celebration in tropical heat?

On the other side of the Atlantic, homage was paid to the Infant Jesus through feast and dancing, with rhythmical villancicos and sweet lullabies. This music from the time of the conquistadors displays a unique and colourful mixture of Indian, African and European musical traditions.

Ensemble Villancico, conducted by Peter Pontvik, specialises in early world music and has toured extensively for fifteen years. The performances, combining joyful energy with high musical quality, have given the ensemble a leading position in the genre.

This anniversary performance is presented by Stockholm Early Music Festival as part of the Early Music LIVE! concert series, on Saturday 4 December, 3 pm, at Nybrokajen 11.

Tickets are available from www.ticnet.se or Nybrokajen 11, +46 8 4071700.
