Dear early music lover,
This spring's Early Music LIVE! series will have a nocturnal touch to it. When SEMF launched its new Early Late Night Concert concept in December last year, there were many positive reactions. It will now be possible to enjoy three such evenings, on 3 March, 7 April, and 5 May! Lean comfortably back on a mattress or in a sofa with live early music right next to you. A wonderful musical experience in a cosy, intimate atmosphere!
First on stage is brilliant violinist Ann Wallström with friends, followed by vocal ensemble Purifive and recorder quartet Woodpeckers.
Early Late Night Concerts take place in the Clara Schumann hall at Musikaliska. To make room for more listeners, SEMF offers two performances of each concert, one at 9.30-10.20 pm and one at 10.45-11.35 pm. A nice glass of wine, to round off your evening, is always available at Bistro Birgit.
Early Music LIVE! - a thousand years of music from vibrating chords and strings straight to your ear - right in the heart of Stockholm.
Welcome!
Peter Pontvik
Artistic director SEMF
