Wednesday 3 June 2015 20:00 - 22:00 The German Church

“Cantiques pour un Prince” unifies the French baroque genius Marc-Antoine Charpentier's expressive, beautiful and sorrowful double choir mass with motets from the 1670s. An evening full of the emotional power of music!

La Fenice (name taken from the phoenix – the fabulous bird risen from the ashes) is today one of France's most acclaimed early music ensembles. With internationally renowned soloists and under the direction of its founder, cornetto specialist Jean Tubéry, they cooperate in this concert with Belgian vocal ensemble Vox Luminis, known for its exquisite tuning and clarity of sound.

Ticket prices: 100 SEK - 390 SEK.

Numbered seats in four sections. Admission: 30 minutes before the concert.

Student discount tickets can only be purchased at SEMF's ticket office during the festival 3 - 7 June.
