Morgaine – Lifetime Images

Saturday 4 June 2016 18:00 - 19:00 The Finnish Church

An imaginary musical walk through light and shadows through William Shakespeare's various life stages – youth, passion, melancholy, anguish and departure – embedded the lovely soundscapes of the Renaissance and early Baroque. Music from England, the Netherlands, Italy, and the Lithuanian-Polish Commonwealth, by Dowland, Kapsberger, Sweelinck and Jarzębski, among many others.

The internationally renown Lithuanian viol player Darius Stabinskas and harpsichord performer Alina Rotaru lie behind this approach and direct the ensemble Morgaine.

In cooperation with the Lithuanian Culture Institute and the Embassy of Lithuania.

Ticket prices: 130 SEK - 230 SEK. Admission: 30 minutes before the concert.
