The legacy from th Middle ages is strong in the Nordic folk tradition and we are over again fascinated by the beauty within the archaic melodiesand the imaginative lyrics. Ale Möller and Lena Willemark, two gateway figures for the Sweidsh folk music stage with a large audience nationwide as well as worldwide, are closing SEMF 2017 by connecting us modern listeners with this soundscape. Erik Rydvall, on keyed fiddle and Leo Svensson Sander cello complete the ensemble.
