December 7 in Old Town

WARMLY welcome to the third frosted one day version of SEMF´s highly acclaimed summer festival, which in the sign of Christmas magic offers international early music of high quality from afternoon to midnight! This year the festival will move to the beautiful historical parts of the Old Town of Stockholm.

Overindulge yourself with lovely tones and storytelling interspersed with a historically inspired buffet. Get started by listening to Capella de la Torre, playing Christmas tunes from the Mediterranean region on their historical woodwind instruments before enjoying music written by J.S. Bach and Jean-Philippe Rameau performed by the always up to date European Union Baroque Orchestra under the exquisite leadership of Lars Ulrik Mortensen. End the day in a horizontal position during SEMF´s popular mattress concert. This time it will be Emilia Amper with her fanciful key fiddle together with Anders Löfberg playing the cello who invites you to a relaxing homey atmosphere like nowhere else!

It´s never too cold for early music…
