The SEMFestivalpass gives you entrance to Stockholm Early Music Festival 2015. In the German Church seats are pre chosen and booked for SEMFestivalpass owners in the A-section. In the Finnish Church the pass is valid for parquet seats. Therefore you will not find any particular seat number on your ticket. A printed copy of the festival programme booklet is included! When purchasing on the Internet, please collect your pass in the festival ticket office by showing your printed online ticket. If you book your pass through the festival phone, you will receive information about payment and collection when you book. Telephone hours and number can be found here. The price for the SEMFestivalpass is 1 680 SEK. Please note that the pass is valid for all events except the Early Late Night Concert. |

“Cantiques pour un Prince” unifies the French baroque genius Marc-Antoine Charpentier's expressive, beautiful and sorrowful double choir mass with motets from the 1670s. An evening full of the emotional power of music! La Fenice (name taken from the phoenix – the fabulous bird risen from the ashes) is today one of France's most acclaimed early music ensembles. With internationally renowned soloists and under the direction of its founder, cornetto specialist Jean Tubéry, they cooperate in this concert with Belgian vocal ensemble Vox Luminis, known for its exquisite tuning and clarity of sound.

![]() Experience the popular Swedish radio programme “Alltid på en söndag" (Eng: Always on a Sunday) live together with the well- known radio presenter Vassilis Bolonassos, this time on a Thursday! For one hour a variety of early music examples will be brought to the listeners in a masterly way. The programme ends with a musical quiz.

The famous story about a flute playing rat catcher from the 13th century who left his traces in a small German village, is taking new form - in the middle of Stockholm. The children are taught medieval dance steps and then become main characters in the story, wheter they choose to become rats or remain in their shape as children...
The performance is suitable for children up to 12 years.

![]() The “Mystery Sonatas” by Czech baroque composer Franz Biber are a great multidimensional masterpiece conceived as an artistic strengthening of the different moods represented in the Rosary prayers. Infinitely beautiful! Sirkka-Liisa Kaakinen Pilch is one of Finland's most versatile violinists with an international career and a fondness for repertoire from the 17th and 18th century.

![]() Founded in 1970 (!) on Philippe Herreweghe's initiative, Collegium Vocale Gent is today one of Europe's top vocal ensembles who's transparent sound has acquired world fame. CVG performs at the major concert venues and has recorded an impressive discography of 80 CDs. Gesualdo's sixth book of madrigals is a garden of extraordinary intense beauty, expression of painful sentiments but also masterful counterpoint. Written two years before his death, it represents a "Grand Finale" in the opus of the composer and is a real technical defy for any interpreters. Majestic dissonances and changing colours give the music a unique touch of modernity.
